“ It was good to hear the background of the current budget crisis from some very involved parents. I think there were parent leaders there from three or four schools, some of whom have been involved in planning or study committees over many years The collective experience, in-depth analysis, reference to documents already in existence which may be useful to help solve the current crisis, all helped illuminate a lively discussion on a complicated topic. School board member Pam Rykken did a lot of listening, some clarifying, and some questioning...."Who will present this view at the upcoming Monday night school board meeting?" It was a very worthwhile meeting and I think all the parents were grateful to Pam for taking the time to listen to their concerns. ”
