Breaking The Cycle: Children & Domestic Violence

Children living in homes where domestic violence is happening experience higher rates of abuse and trauma. This presentation covers the dynamics of abusive relationships, the ways in which domestic violence effects children, how to intervene with children in abusive situations and identifies community resources for victims. This is information everyone should have yet hope they never need to use it. This class meets one time for one hour.

The YWCA of Topeka was formed in 1887. The Battered Women Task Force serves the women and children of Topeka providing support in the most difficult of times and education opportunities like this.
