Yesterday I received a letter from St Andrews church in regards to the changes in the time for religion class. My daughter, who will be starting 8th grade is now required to attend class on Sunday night from 5:30pm until 7:00pm and then attend 7pm mass. Can anyone tell me if all the parishes in Bayonne are doing the same thing?

At. St. Henry's, the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders attend our Junior High Program on Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8:00PM.

Our Confirmation candidates (9th grade) do have classes on Sunday; I believe it is once a month, followed by attendance at the 12PM Mass.In addition, I think they have a monthly Sunday evening meeting with a parish priest.

thanks for the info. St Mary's has class for 8 graders on tues form 6:30pm til 8pm. I am thinking for changing my daughter to St Mary's because my daughter cannot attend the Sunday evening class at St Andrew's due to another obligation.
